Nuevo medicamento contra el Cáncer demuestra buenos resultados.

Cientos de médicos (oncólogos) en América Latina, Estados Unidos y Europa están
probando en sus pacientes este nuevo medicamento contra el cáncer que ha demostrado
excelentes resultados en pacientes con tumores de varios tipos y estadios.
Los médicos han anunciado que el descubrimiento de este nuevo medicamento presenta
numerosas ventajas: Aumenta las defensas del organismo, alivia los dolores, reduce los
efectos colaterales de la quimioterapia y radioterapia.
Aseguran, además, que es capaz de reducir los tumores y hasta eliminarlos por completo.
También es muy útil para los casos en que sea necesario realizar una cirugía para extraer
un tumor puesto que, tomado con anterioridad a la intervención quirúrgica permite que
éste sea extraído fácilmente (ya estarán reducidos en su tamaño y encapsulados), y lo
que es más importante, evita la aparición de posteriores recidivas.
Es un producto natural extraído de hierbas vegetales (fitoterapia), no provoca efectos
secundarios, no es tóxico inclusive en grandes dosis y es compatible con cualquier otro
tratamiento que el paciente está realizando, incluyendo quimioterapia y radioterapia; en
estos casos minimiza los efectos provocados por estos tratamientos.
Ha demostrado tener importantes efectos antitumorales, actúa como regenerativo e
inmunoestimulante. Como antitumoral actúa directamente sobre los tumores y las
metástasis, eliminando selectivamente las células cancerígenas, cortando el ciclo de
Krebs, provocando estrés y necrosis a estas células por falta de oxigenación.
Es importante destacar que desde las primeras etapas del tratamiento el enfermo
experimenta una notable mejoría en la calidad de vida permitiendo, en la mayoría de
los casos, que la persona retorne a su vida normal.
Estimula el sistema inmunológico aumentando el número de linfocitos T hasta llevarlos
a niveles normales. También ha demostrado importantes resultados en personas con
várices, psoriasis, queloides y enfermedades de la piel en general, en su versión GEL,
usándose vía transdérmica.

Senator Pete Domenici, R-NM, attached an anti-environmental rider to the FY2004 Energy and Water Appropriations bill that is greatly impacting current collaborative efforts among all the stakeholders along the Middle Rio Grande to come to a long-term, global water conservation strategy.

The 10th Circuit Court ruling earlier this summer, spurred the parties in the Rio Grande silvery minnow case to come together to reach an agreement that would benefit the minnow, farmers, cities, Pueblos, and the state. Under the leadership of Governor Bill Richardson, the parties have been negotiating for over a month and a half and are close to reaching an agreement, by New Mexicans, for New Mexicans. Now, citing time pressures due to this rider, the Governor has suspended the negotiations.

The Silvery Minnow Extinction Rider would severely hamper these local efforts. If the rider is enacted, there is little incentive for parties to negotiate and the same conflicts will still exist. The rider would reduce the amount of water available for use in complying with the Endangered Species Act.

In addition, the rider legislates the Biological Opinion. Sen. Domenici has tried to characterize this rider as a simple, "rifle-shot" response to the court decision; however, it would set in stone a 10-year opinion. Once this biological opinion is set into law, regardless of what happens on the ground, the opinion will not change throughout its duration - until 2013, even if its requirements fail to protect the silvery minnow or southwestern willow flycatcher.

The time is now to raise a ruckus in opposition to this rider-both for the sake of the silvery minnow and the precedent it would set. Congress needs to hear from folks across the country in opposition to this rider!

ACTION: Call your Senators and urge them to oppose the Rio Grande silvery minnow extinction rider on the FY2004 Energy and Water Appropriations bill. Ask them to support any efforts to remove it from the bill.
